Endangered Butterflies Window Display

There is a 'sneak peek', limited time display, at the upcoming Fantastic Butterflies Museum. View some of our large scale butterfly models in the front windows, at 125-133 Napier Street, St Arnaud, Victoria. This display can be viewed until 31st July 2022.

On display is a Tailed Emperor butterfly, the Australian Fritillary butterfly and the British High Brown Fritillary. These last two butterflies are part of the 'Endangered Species' display. The Australian Fritillary is Australia's most endangered butterfly, with no confirmed sightings for a couple of decades now. There are also some live Tailed Emperor butterflies, who are housed in large entomological cages, which feed on over ripe fruit when its sunny.
